HAPPY FALL COMPASS PARENTS!

We have been praying for you and your families!  We hope your new school year is off to a good start and that you are enjoying your new routine!  We have been very busy at

Compass Public School Ministry and are excited to share all God is doing!  See a glimpse of what He is up to in our local schools in just the first few weeks…

  • Moms in Prayer Groups are forming and beginning a year of faithful prayer for our schools
  • Student-led bible studies and Good News Clubs are kicking off on school campuses
  • Teachers are connecting and beginning prayer groups at their schools before and after contracted hours
  • Young Life and FCA groups are "bursting at the seams"
  • Moms of football players are walking the fields praying God's blessing and protection over upcoming games

Updates:

-Compass kicked off on September 13th as close to 150 educators were commissioned, in two services, at Grace Church onto their mission field of their schools.  Pastor Troy Dobbs and the rest of the congregation prayed a blessing over them as they filled the front of the sanctuary.  Continue to keep these faithful servants in your prayers!

9am Grace Church Service, 9/13/15                                       Compass team members handed out "Shining for Jesus at School"

bracelets to our students and announced upcoming events.

-Students gathered at their school's flagpoles all over the nation on September 23rd for See You at the Pole!  For pictures submitted from some local schools go to our Facebook page at "Compass-Navigating Public Education."

-Compass is growing!  Northern Colorado Compass Ministry kicked off last week with their first Educator breakfast on September 26th in Fort Collins.  They were blessed with close to 75 in attendance and are excited to see how God will lead their new ministry and work in and through these missionaries in their area.  God is so good!

-The Pray for America Bus Tour BLESSED US by stopping their big blue bus at Grace Church on September 27th.  This group from the National Day of Prayer event team made us their 20th stop on their 6000 mile, 56 day trip across the nation to mobilize prayer on our school campuses.  They spoke to Grace's Parents of Teens group about what they are seeing on campuses along their journey and came and listened as parents and teachers shared with them over lunch about the exciting things God is doing in our schools here locally.  A powerful time of prayer followed as they covered our group in prayer.  What an encouragement these prayer warriors were to us!
